The Little Prince Workshop

Vulnerability, Connection, and Seeing the Invisible
Inspired by The Little Prince, this workshop explored themes of vulnerability, love, and connection through creative art practices. Vulnerability was approached not as a weakness, but as a creative space—an opening into the inner world. The light that enters through cracks pointed toward love, loss, and the search for meaning.
Throughout the workshop, participants reconnected with a sensitivity often suppressed in adulthood but still alive within a child’s perspective. Through artistic techniques, they were invited to question both their inner and outer worlds and to explore the question: What lies beyond what is visible?

Opening the Doors of the Inner World

During the process, participants worked with simple cardboard boxes. At first glance, these boxes appeared ordinary; over time, they transformed through colors, patterns, and small openings. Each gesture created space for a suppressed emotion, a forgotten dream, or an inner need.
Each box became a small doorway into its maker’s inner world. The process reminded participants that what truly matters is often invisible, and that listening to the inner child requires patience, care, and compassion.
The Rose: Looking at Vulnerability with Love
The rose from The Little Prince emerged as a powerful metaphor throughout the workshop. Fragile and in need of care, the rose symbolized a being that grows through love. In the printmaking sessions, participants worked with rose imagery, experiencing how love must be directed not only toward others but also toward oneself.
The monoprint technique ensured that each print was unique—just like emotions and relationships. Imperfections, shifts, and unexpected outcomes became a natural part of the process. What mattered was not perfection, but attention, care, and presence.
The Fox: The Fragility of Connection
The fox metaphor reminded participants that forming connections also means daring to be vulnerable. Love, loss, and remembrance intertwined. Vulnerability was not an endpoint, but a gateway to transformation and depth.
Throughout the workshop, participants engaged with the sensitivity that comes with connection. This emotional openness formed the foundation of the creative process, as authentic expression becomes possible only when vulnerability is welcomed.
The Trace the Workshop Left Behind
This workshop reminded participants that vulnerability is not a state to avoid, but a strength at the heart of loving, connecting, and creating. Art made this encounter possible, gently lifting masks and opening space for more authentic connections.
As The Little Prince reminds us:
What is essential is invisible to the eye.
